MITEY 2019: Bringing Men into the Early Years - The Why and The How

We will be co-running a workshop with Lifting Limits at this event

This is the 4th National Men In The Early Years Conference. It will take place at the Abbey Centre in central London (nearest tube Westminster) on 4 September.

This will be the first MITEY conference to feature a ministerial address, from Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Children and Families, Nadhim Zahawi MP - a real sign that our agenda is now recognised as important at the highest level of government.

There's a growing sense that we need more men working in early years education; a stronger understanding of why they matter; and new ideas about how to make it happen. Our fantastic line-up of speakers and workshop presenters will include:

Julia Gaskell is going to be giving an introduction to Emotion Coaching.

Dr Jasmine Pradissito makes science really fun and provides lots of engaging ideas to bring science to children.

Lynne Cooper and Levia Ostrove-Pound from Ann Bernadt will speak about gender which will feature a surprise special guest appearance!
